After a cold, yet fun day of snowboarding, i discussed this assignment with my riding buddies. Lots of silly suggestions came up (example: "I love you. This will not work. What the eff?!"), but nothing that i felt was good enough. Later at night, curled up in my top bunk once again, brainstorming words on the back of an envelope (my first direction was poetic), inspiration finally struck... "They met on a chairlift and rode into the sunset." Soon after, this little comic strip was born. It's definitely one of my favorites so far.
