Make something natural look digital (jagged edges, pixilation, made from ones and zeros, and so on).

The holidays are officially here! The snowstorm sitting over the Ottawa area over the past few days meant  many, many hours/delays in airports today, but I finally made it to Moncton for a week of family time. This picture shows me bonding with my 'nephew' (my sister's dog) shortly before bedtime. The pull-out couch will surely be more comfortable than the padded airport bench I napped on earlier :)

Create a new book cover for your favorite book. It can actually cover the existing book, but it doesn't have to be a practical item.

Make a snowman!

It snowed all last night, and was still snowing this morning during my walk to work. Of course, it was that big, thick, perfectly sticky snow, and I couldn't resist making a little snowman on the bridge ledge :)

Day 355 :: Thursday December 20 :: Ottawa

Half and half. Take two things that don't go together and find a way to make half of one and half of the other fit together into one new thing.

There is definitely not enough time in my days right now, especially with getting ready to fly home on Saturday... did i mention that i haven't started packing yet?! So, of course, tonight seemed like a good night to go out for dinner with a friend and catch up. I originally wanted to do this assignment with a combination of our food orders, but it slipped my mind until the moment the plates were getting cleared post-meal. &^%$#!!! I told my friend this, and once he caught his breath from laughing too hard, he replied with 'just put a pompom and a meatball together'. Done! Thanks Jeff!

Work with only candy or chocolate today, wrapped or unwrapped.

M&Ms were the perfect combination of tiny and colourful to make this Christmas tree! And yes, that's Santa's sleigh in the sky :)

Hmmm, I printed various fabric textures for this one, but couldn't really settle on a proper uniform... so here are two stick figures, in teeny cut paper outfits. Hope it's okay! :)
